Audio Theater “Holy War”

An audio theater performance (also called live sound theater or radioplay) i worked with and used for my bachelor thesis at Sonic College, Sound Design.
The story is based on a research about islamic terrorism and it’s interests and recruiting in europe.
All the sounds and music are performed and/or played back live.
Me and my college Aske Øland, made all the sounds and music, and performed it live, while i was doing the live 5.1 surround mix and vocal effects and he was playing and mixing the atmospheres, sound effects and music.
We put 3 shotgun mics and 3 contact mics to record additional foley sounds from actors.
The play was going on for 3 weeks in two Cinemas in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2016.
